Recruitment Solutions recognises that effective temporary recruitment is quick, efficient and provides a strong level of “fit” between the requirements of our clients and the skills, attitude and behaviours of our candidates. As a result, we follow a specific and rigorous process to ensure that the “best fit” temporary staff can be quickly sourced and placed to meet the individual needs of each client partner and situation.

Continual Sourcing Strategy

Recruitment Solutions continually sources pre-qualified candidates whose details are stored on our extensive candidate database, enabling us to fulfil our clients’ temporary employee needs quickly and efficiently.  Candidate attraction and sourcing takes many forms based on research and understanding of our target candidate market, their demographics and their motivators. Strategies include internet and press advertising, referrals programmes, networking and targeted industry sponsorships designed to give our Consultants access to a broad, quality candidate pool.

Initial Screening

Recruitment Solutions’ commitment to providing only top performing temporary employees to our client partners is underpinned by thorough screening processes throughout the recruitment process. During the initial screening phase, candidates undertake a basic behavioural and functional review to determine their potential suitability to be a Recruitment Solutions temporary employee.

Behavioural Interview

Each candidate is interviewed by a Consultant trained and experienced in behaviour-based interviewing techniques. Rather than simply verifying the accuracy of the resume, interviewing in this way aims to better understand the attitude and motivation of the candidate, ensuring a better match between the candidate and the client.

Assessments & Testing

Recruitment Solutions conducts both functional and behavioural assessments for temporary employees as a standard component of our recruitment process.

Reference & Background Checking

Recruitment Solutions conducts a minimum of one reference check for candidates with 5 or more years of experience, or two reference checks for candidates with less than 5 years experience. Reference checks are behavioural-based and seek to expand on areas of strength and weakness identified during the assessment process. Other security and background checks including police, medical and credit checking can be undertaken at this stage if required.

Client Brief

For Recruitment Solutions, taking a job brief from a client means more than simply recording a job title, time and date. For each client request, the Recruitment Solutions Consultant will work with the client to develop an understanding of the job, environment and culture, and to assist in identifying the competencies required of the temporary employee. Recruitment Solutions will then clarify the objectives and time frames and agree on pay rates.

Candidate Selection

Candidate selection is based on a comprehensive review of the candidate’s skills, behavioural fit and availability with the objective of providing the “BestFit” candidate to meet each temporary requirement for each client partner. Although Recruitment Solutions has pre-qualified each candidate and can confidently provide a temporary employee without the need for client interview, the option for clients to review resumes or interview candidates at this stage is available.

Induction & Briefing

Upon confirmation of the candidate for the assignment, a thorough briefing is conducted to inform the candidate of the date, hours, site and client contact details for the assignment; the objectives of the assignment including expected productivity and behaviours; and the culture and environment of the client site and organisation. Client-specific inductions may also be incorporated during this stage.

Ongoing Service Delivery

Recruitment Solutions is committed to excellence in service delivery throughout all stages of the recruitment process. This is undertaken via the Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly (DWMQ) communication process in place for all clients, regardless of size. As a minimum, you can expect to be contacted by your Recruitment Solutions Consultant on the first and last days of the assignment, and on a fortnightly basis for all assignments longer than one week in duration.
